Free Annual Flu Shots

Available to those enrolled in Drivers Benefits from Mid-September 2025 to April 15, 2026

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), getting a flu shot every year is one of the best ways to avoid getting the flu, or getting seriously ill from potential complications.

Drivers are in constant contact with the public, and at a higher risk of getting sick this flu season. That’s why we’re proud to offer those enrolled in Drivers Benefits free flu shot vouchers, redeemable at any Walgreens or Duane Reade location.

From now until April 15, 2026, drivers enrolled in Drivers Benefits can get a free flu shot from our Free Flu Shot Voucher Program. Provided by the Independent Drivers Guild (IDG).

Free Flu Shot Voucher Program 

All drivers already enrolled in Drivers Benefits will be automatically emailed a free flu shot voucher, which you can redeem at any Walgreens or Duane Reade location. Here’s how it works:

   NOTE: If you are already enrolled you do not need to enroll again. A voucher will automatically be emailed to you. 

    

2. Check your inbox for an email from Drivers Benefits with your free flu shot voucher. Existing enrolled drivers will get an email automatically. Newly enrolled drivers can expect an email in 1 business day. If you don’t get an email, make sure to check your spam folder. If you have questions or need help signing up, call us at 866-471-3603.

    

3. Visit your local Walgreens or Duane Reade and ask for a free flu shot. Show your free flu shot voucher at the pharmacy counter. The pharmacist may ask whether or not you have insurance, but it is not required -- the free flu shot voucher will cover the cost of the shot!

Q: Do I need insurance to use my free flu shot voucher?

A: No. If you don’t have insurance, the voucher will cover the cost of the flu shot. However, if you and your family do not already have free or low-cost health insurance, call Drivers Benefits at 800-218-1491 to see if you qualify.
 

Q: I heard that if I’m over 65 I need a different kind of flu shot. Is that covered?

A: It is true that the pharmacist may decide to give you a different flu shot if you are over the age of 65, but your flu shot voucher will cover whatever flu shot you receive.

Q: What is Drivers Benefits? Do my passengers really pay for all this?
